Another popular choice is the Cottage Craft Turnout Safe Head Collar. This halter is safe for your horse or pony to wear out in the fields and can also be used as a conventional head collar. The clever design has three breaking points, to allow the headcollar to fall off if your horse gets stuck or tangled. There’s a metal d-ring to fasten your trigger hook to when leading or tying up, which won’t give way under pressure.
