We love to sell Charles Owen helmets as Charles Owen puts a large amount of dedication and passion into their range, which is all made from start to finish in their factory in Wrexham. Charles Owen, who originally started in London making riding and military helmets, has come to the forefront of Equestrian protective headwear in the past decade, this was mainly driven by Charles Owen's grandson, Roy Burek, who was genuinely passionate about working towards a safer world. His research and passion pushed forward the research and development of equestrian helmets increasing the safety of equestrian head protection by studying riding accidents, particularly rider skull fractures, and developing safer helmets to mitigate this risk. Sadly Roy passed in 2019. However, the company has now been passed onto Roy's Son, Owen Burek, who is continuing his families legacy.
Charles Owen has over the years developed some of the best features of any riding helmet on the market, these include their Grpx technology harness, which is the best leather harness on the market offering unsurpassed stability to any hat. Their ventilation systems are also exceptional, whether it is the four ventilation holes offered in the young riders range, the ten slot airflow system, or the innovative free fit system offered on the 4 Star, SP8 and V8. One of the most recent additions was the liner systems, any helmet in the range which has plus after the style features a removable liner.
